This month’s podcast features the founder of North Point Ministries, world-renowned author, and communicator, Pastor Andy Stanley.

Andy Stanley attended Georgia State University before going on to receive his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.  After graduation, he went on staff and helped his father, Dr. Charles Stanley, at First Baptist Church of Atlanta.  In 1995, he founded North Point Ministries, which now serves around 90,000 people at one of their six Atlanta churches and 50 churches around the world.  In addition to all of his duties overseeing North Point Ministries, he is also known for his gift in communication, where’s spoken at events such as the National Prayer Service following the inauguration in 2009.  Andy has also authored over 20 books, hosts his own leadership podcast The Andy Stanley Leadership Podcast, and began a television show called Your Move, that airs late at night on Friday’s and Saturday’s.  One article on Preaching.com, listed Pastor Andy Stanley as one of the most influential pastors over the past 25 years.

In this episode, Mike Linch talks with Pastor Andy Stanley about his stance on leadership, and what has led him to become one of the greatest leaders of this generation.  They also discuss what Andy has learned from his father, Dr. Charles Stanley, parenting, and the preparation he puts into every message he gives.
